Privacy policy

Who runs this site
This site, ace.education, is run by Ace ("I", "me"). The way to reach me is the form on the home page and on the curriculum page. This policy covers ace.education and what is sent through that form.
What this site collects
The site has no accounts, no analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, and sets no cookies of its own. It is a static set of pages with one form.
Three things happen when you use it:
- Hosting logs. The hosting provider records standard request data (IP address, requested page, browser type, time) to serve the site and protect it from abuse. These logs are not used to identify individual visitors.
- Fonts. Type is loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser requests the font files from Google, which receives your IP address as part of that request. Google's handling of that data is described in Google's own privacy policy.
- The form. If you write to me, the site records what you typed (your name, email address, the optional "where you are" field, the discipline you chose, and your message) together with the time, the page it was sent from, your IP address, your country as reported by the network, and your browser type. The last three exist to stop abuse of the form.
What happens to a message
A message is stored with the hosting provider and forwarded to me, by message or email, so that I can read it and answer. I keep it for as long as needed to answer it and to keep a record of the correspondence. You are not added to any mailing list, and your details are not sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing. If a message leads to you joining the path, what follows is covered by whatever is agreed at the time, not by this policy.
Legal basis and your rights
Where data protection law applies to you, the basis for the processing above is my legitimate interest in running a website and answering the people who write to me. You can ask what information I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to my use of it, by sending a message through the form and saying so. I answer within the time the applicable law allows.
Children
This site is intended for adults. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date at the top.
